Film inspired by the story of French postman Joseph Ferdinand Cheval, who spent 33 years building his home and making it an architectural masterpiece.
The Last Postmen revolves around a postman named Ayoub who works in a rural area until he loses his job and becomes unemployed. The events escalate dramatically with a set of knots such as the loss of the main character’s land and a forced trip in search of a new plot of land so that he can build his family a house as Joseph Cheval did. But the wind is running unwillingly…

After graduating as a Film Director from Baghdad University in 2009, Saad Al Essamy directs various short films and a long feature film: The Last Postmen (2022).
