Synopsis:
Crawling Birds is a tragic art project, consisting of a connected series of images that narrate the story of humanoid birds living in a deep cave with constrained wings. According to their beliefs flying and soaring are forbidden. That is until a young man discovers the power of his wings, enabling him to explore the wonders of the world outside the cave, and decides to share this revelation with his fellow beings.

The project relies on visual language, incorporating photography and expressive dance. In its form, it bears resemblance to various art movements, including German expressionist cinema and Greek tragedy.
