Synopsis:
Nashwa, a girl in her mid-twenties living in El Sharkia, didn’t have a regular wedding like other girls. Instead, she travels to her groom who lives abroad alone as a bride wearing the bridal dress in the airport. Nashwa’s journey tells the story of many girls living in rural areas who are obliged to leave their families and homes to live with their husbands whom they might not have seen ever before while spending their last hours of freedom. The documentary is about society’s pressures that Nashwa accepts unintentionally in her journey.
