HelAFF Visits Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema

The Helsinki Arab Film Festival (HelAFF) recently paid a visit to the Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema in the Egyptian Capital Cairo to discuss the outcomes of HelAFF’s inaugural edition, which took place prior to the end of 2024.

Father Botrous Danial, head of the Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema, warmly welcomed Mr. Azer Sawiris, President of HelAFF, and Ms. Morgane Hoarau, Director of Communications and PR at HelAFF.

During the meeting, the HelAFF team engaged in discussions with their hosts about the festival's future and its mission to bridge the cultural gaps between Arabic-speaking immigrants and Finnish society through cinema.
