Short Film “Therapy” Director Ramy Hassan Madbouly Participate in HelAFF’26

Helsinki — September 9, 2026

The director of the Egyptian Short Film “Therapy”, Mr. Ramy Hassan Madbouly, arrived to Helsinki to participate in the 3rd edition of the Helsinki Arab Film Festival — HelAFF’26.

Before screening his film that is part of the Official Competition, Ramy gave a short brief about the idea of the film to the audience.

Ramy mentioned that he is studying at the Higher Institute of Cinema in Cairo, Egypt and he expressed his happiness because “Therapy” is his first film and it was a surprise for him that the film was selected to participate in an international film festival.
