HelAFF’26 Has Arrived! We’re thrilled to unveil the latest edition of the Helsinki Arab Film Festival (HelAFF) for 2026!

This year, the festival once again opens its doors to filmmakers from across the Arab world, inviting them to share their stories and cinematic visions.

Submissions are now officially open, offering a stage for both rising voices and established artists to present their work. Calling all filmmakers — get your projects ready and submit your films! And to our wonderful audience, keep an eye out for the upcoming program so you can secure your seats.

We’re looking forward to celebrating cinema together with you this year. The submission period is open from 25 April to 25 May 2026. Details about ticket sales will be announced soon…
