HelAFF Participates in Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema Festival; Finnish Ambassador Attends

The Helsinki Arab Film Festival (HelAFF) took part in the closing ceremony of the 73rd film festival organised by the Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema, held in Cairo from May 2 to 9, 2025.
Among the attendees was Ms. Riikka Eela, the Finnish Ambassador to Cairo, who expressed her support for HelAFF during the event.
The ceremony also featured notable attendees, including Mona Zaki, who won Best Actress for her role in the film "404 Trip," as well as Amro Yousif, Tarek Al-Eriyan, and a host of other prominent Egyptian film stars.
The Egyptian Catholic Centre for Cinema is the organiser of the oldest film festival in Cairo, having been held annually since 1952.
